Christmas Closure

The Child Law Advice Service will be closed from 24/12/2024 and will reopen on 02/01/2025.

Our telephone lines will close at 4pm on 20/12/2024 and reopen at 10am on 02/01/2025. Our webchat service will close at 4pm on 23/12/2024 and reopen at 8am on 02/01/2025. Any emails enquiries received over Christmas will be answered within 5 working days of our return to the office.

The Family Division has produced template orders under the Child Arrangements Programme which is separated into:

Allocation and Gatekeeping forms

This contains information about upcoming hearings, directions for who is to attend, directions to CAFCASS and Children's Services to carry out safeguarding checks and information as to attendance at a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM).

Case Management and Section 8 Orders

This provides templates for directions and orders relating to contact, residence, Specific Issue Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and findings of facts.

Enforcement

This provides template for an enforcement order detailing any finding of breach and directions to undertake unpaid work, pay a fine or for comittal to prison.
