Cafcass has announced the launch of a new dedicated telephone line for children and young people who are going through or who have been through family court proceedings. Cafcass is seeking feedback from children via the 'Hear to Listen' service as to how effectively Cafcass listened to them and understood what life is like for them whilst involved in the court process.
In the event a child uses the telephone line to contact Cafcass whilst their court proceedings remain live, the call will be directed to their allocated Family Court Adviser for the child to ask any questions they have.
