Coram Children's Legal Centre offers a confidential service. When a caller provides us with their name, address & phone number it will remain confidential and not be passed on to third parties.
However, in exceptional circumstances confidentiality may be broken if:
- We have concerns that a young person is at risk of harm
- We have a safeguarding concern regarding an adult
- We are ordered to by way of a Court Order
Calls to Child Law Advice are not recorded. Please note however that some calls to Coram Children's Legal Centre are recorded. This is to ensure that the highest quality of call handling is maintained.
In the interests of confidentiality these records will only be accessible by Coram Children's Legal Centre management unless further action needs to be taken and the record produced to a third party. All records will be destroyed after three months unless still in use.

Your information is stored securely in a case management system database. We do not share this information with third parties unless these is an exceptional circumstance(see above).
